Alta Nursery was founded as a wholesale nursery in 1978 by Jim and Andi Conner. The family chose to locate the nursery in San Jacinto, CA because of the excellent water quality, 1,500 foot elevation, and temperature extremes. This combination is perfect for growing our hardy ornamentals primarily destined for the Rocky Mountain states.
