This beautiful shrub lives up to its common name as the ‘Green Gem.’ It is a small, lush mound of emerald green summer foliage with some bronzing in winter cold. This small rounded boxwood can be treated as a topiary to create perfect spheres in the garden. If grown in its natural form it can be used as a filler or to coverup the base of a house or fence line. It is in evergreen and it requires protection from drying if winter winds are present to prevent tip dieback.
