Calamagrostis acutiflora is a beautiful variegated foliage featuring mauve flower spikes. In comparison to the Karl Foerster this grass has more airy seed heads. The foliage is green and white along the leaves. Calamagrostis acutiflora tolerates the sun and heat but it prefers coolness and partial shade.
