This is a large, rounded, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with upright branching. It is native to Siberia and Machuria. One of the best uses for this shrub is to use difficult areas of the landscape where growing conditions are challenging. There are no serious insect or disease problems in relation to this shrub. It tens to grow easily and tolerates a number of adverse conditions including poor soils, drought and strong winds.
