Elaeagnus pungens is a densely-branched evergreen shrub. This shrub creates a great screen, hedge, barrier, or naturalizer. It has silvery scales on rich green round leaves with wavy edges. The underside of Elaeagnus pungens reveals silvery white and brown scales. A unique factor to this shrub is that it has a fruity fragrance to it.
