This Southwest native evergreen is at home in a desert, rock garden or xeriscape. It features tall spikes holding deep rose-pink flowers atop cups of seller, green, drought tolerant foliage. It blooms nearly year round in warm winter regions.  It will be sure to add color and textural interest to cottage beds and borders if placed with other low water use perennials.
