This handsome, fast growing evergreen stands upright and is appealing to the eye. The dark green color and densely branched column is well-suited for use as a formal accent, screen or windbreak. In its natural form, the symmetrical, pyramidal shape rarely needs pruning. It is an excellent specimen for formal topiary. It is great in tolerating heat, cold, and drought. Once established is can be watered occasionally; more in extreme heat or containers.
