Juniperus sabina ‘Tamariscifolia’

Tamarix Juniper

Mature Height: 18-30 inches
Mature Width: 10-15 feet
USDA Hardiness Zone Range:  4 to 7
Water Requirements:  Low
Shade Requirements:  Full Sun, Partial Shade

The Tamarix Juniper is a densely branched low growing conifer that gracefully spreads to form mounds of soft, scale like, rich green foliage. It is an excellent conifer for use as a large scale ground cover, on banks and slopes, or as a rock garden accent evergreen. The juniper tends to spread but it not ground hugging. Rather, it makes graceful wide mounds that are lovely as individual specimens in fields of gravel or bark.
