The Rose Muhly has fine textured foliage accompanied by showy, pinkish red plumes that float in a cloud above the foliage. It resembles Pink Muhly Grass but it is smaller in stature and has more diffuse softer blooms. This beauty occurs naturally in limestone soils. It is diverse and can tolerate drought, heat, and humidity. It is a tough and adaptable plant it thrives in most soils and handles wet conditions well. It is native to Oklahoma, Texas, and Mexico.
