Dakota Sunspot is a compact shrub with half inch wide bright green leaves that are distributed the full length of the branches. It flowers profusely from late spring until frost and may be the most floriferous flowering potentilla cultivar. The flowers are less than 1 inch across and are a deep golden color. It is known for being the best reblooming yellow. They are very cold hardy and can be used as a low hedge, mixed or shrub border foundation.
