Golden Currant is a beautiful shrub that blooms wit golden yellow flowers, that reveal a pronounced fragrance similar to cloves or vanilla. The flowers attract hummingbirds and monarch butterflies. The leaves are green and shaped similarly to gooseberry leaves, turning red in autumn.
