Mister Lincoln has a strong damask scent. It has very large, double, velvet wine-red flowers up to 5 in. across having as many as 26-40 petals. It blooms in early summer and throughout the season. The sumptuous blooms stand out against the leathery, dark green foliage and make an impressive display. They are tall, vigorous and ever blooming. Mister Lincoln is an exceptional performer and tolerates adverse weather conditions and is regarded by many to be the best red rose ever bred.
