The Snowmound Spirea is an easy to grow shrub with graceful, dark green foliage, spreading branches, and an abundance of white flower clusters that provide a spectacular show in mid-to-late spring. They can be used at the back of the border or as a showy spring accent. The stems can be cut with the blossoms to create a stunning flower arrangement. It makes a lovely casual hedge or accent plant in the border where its arching stems and white flowers can be admired. Aside from its beauty it attracts butterflies and tolerates poor soils.
