Like agaves, this yucca forms a clump of narrow, tough, blade-like pale green leaves that extend out from central, woody almost tree-like stalk. Bell shaped, greenish white, pendulous flowers are followed by gorgeous oblong, cream colored seed capsules. This yucca provides food and nesting for small mammals, birds and reptiles.
