Commonly known as the Daylily it is easily grown in average, medium moisture, well drained soils in full to part shade. It is native to Asia and central Europe. Most plants are fibrous rooted, but some are tuberous rooted. The flowers featured on this plant tend to be funnel shaped to bell shaped, often coming in a variety of forms. Flowers bloom on naked scales from spring to late summer. They are easy to grow herbaceous perennials for gardens, borders, and edging.
