Commonly called Peking Cotoneaster, is an upright, deciduous shrub with a rounded top. This beauty is noted for its pubescent twigs, dull green foliage, pinkish- white spring flowers, interesting fall colors and persistent black fruits. It may be used as an interesting landscape plant that offers good foliage, flowers and fruit. It’s not considered to be highly ornamental, but does grow with minimal effort as an informal screen or hedge.
